Another day, another sunset

Some times I think it's a pitty that the sunset takes only a few minutes. On the other hand that's one of the things that makes it so special. For me sunset is always something special. It always relaxes me. It's like a bridge between day and night, the end of something, but also the beginning of something else. Sunset is like a wise sorter, who keeps the secrets of the day as well as the night.
Today, again we had an amazing sunset. I went on the roof of our building to get a better view. Here are some of the results!

Wild flowers

Today I'd like to share with you some pictures I took in the wild during a trip in our area. We had some clouds high in the sky which blocked the sun a bit. That is ideal for taking pictures.

Fire in the sky

Like almost every day in this season, we had an amazing sunset here.
This is what I saw from our balcony. I just had to shoot it.
The way the sun shattered it's light over she sky and touched the clouds, it was like the horizon was on fire and the sun melted down the clouds.

Karmay Yosef

Now here is a picture (actualy 3 combined together)that I took with my cell phone and wished I had my cam with me. I took it during work when I was at a customer living not far from where we live. As you can see they have a very nice view there.

Trip to Eilat

Last summer we went to Eilat and drove through the Negev dessert on west side of the dessert. You can find the most breathtaking landscapes there. I tried to capture some of them to remember. Here are some of these memories.

Rain clouds

Here are some fresh picture of today, just before sun set. As you see we had some rain today. the combination made a beautifull concert of light and coulors. The pics were taken only a few minutes apart with no changes to the camera

Here's a picture I like a lot. I took it a short time after I got my camera and tried to play with it. It's not a really professional pic. but still not to bad I think

About my camera

Canon Powershot S3

Before you can make a picture you need a camera. About a year ago I bought my first digital camera. I choose the Canon Powershot S3, wich is a good camera for biginners like me.

Since then I took over a thousand pics. Atleast once a week I pick up my camera and make a few pics. I mainly like to photograph objects and bead jewelery that my partner, Smadar, creates. I also like landscapes and sunsets.
