I'm always very fascinated by fire and its power. I can look, or better said, stare at it for hours. So, every time the children have their yearly campfire at Lag Ba Omer (wich is a jewish holiday) I'm always the first in line to help them collect woods, building the campfire and afcourse sit close to it being 'hipnotised' by the the power of fire, while the potatos are being cooked in the fire.
If you look for an hour at it, there won't be even one second the same picture. Here are some pictures of last years campfire. Unnecessary to say that this year again they had the highest and biggest campfire on the site :)

Jerusalem
Today I'd like to take you into the Jewish quarter of the old city of Jerusalem.
I went there last summer on a school trip with the children. I was an amazing trip. We saw a lot of history of the old city, also places where you usually don't come as a tourist (thanks to the connections of our guide). Enjoy.

Trip to banias
This weekend my mother is coming to visit us again and that reminds me of the last time she was here, we made a wonder full trip with my brother and all the kids. It was great fun and beautiful. We visited the waterfalls of Banias in the Golan heights. That's one of the things I love here in Israel, the different landscapes on such a small piece of land. The green and wet parts in the north and less than 200 kilometers from there you find yourself in the dry and hot desserts and everything in between that is different as well, amazing
